+Feb 5+ *SSK 1.2 Stable* {CE OS 21109} Kitchen and ROM

Well well well, look who's not on stock anymore! Me =D hahhah

unlocked and flashed to standard SSK FINALLY. Looks good so far, had to install opera and obv tweak it back to the way i had it on stock as far as settings go and what not.
Once i get to play with it for a day i will post back per your guidelines from the second post.

Couple of things:
1. the pop up's are in the top left of the screen instead of center. scotty i know you had said that you would cab up the reg edit for that, so if you do that would be great.
2. When I click "start," it makes a clicking noise and if i click something in the drop down menu it also makes another clicking sound, and i cannot for the life of me find the option to turn it off. I went to touch flo in settings and clicked off "enable sound when scrolling and panning" but that did not seem to end the sound. Any ideas?
3. Great job on the weather database. But how can i access intl locations? Any help please?

So far it looks good and responsive but will give a more detailed breakdown later today after i use it for a bit.

There's an app over on XDA that allows you to add cities. Here's the link and you can get the WeatherDatabase Editor from that site.

So just tried out the SSK online. It is sweet. I definitely think this is a keeper. You should definitely put up faq's, most requested cabs, most requested tweaks, themes, programs, have links, GPS help etc etc etc. I personally think it could be an invaluable tool for all of us who use your ROM's. Alot of cabs, tweaks, advice, reg edits etc got lost in the threads and its hard for ppl to find them and it prevents ppl from having to dig through pages of threads and ask the same questions over.

Good job buddy! Looking good. I just dl'ed the Animated TLR manilla and gonna try that out now. Thanks again!

EDIT: Just thought about this cuz I know you are so busy with cooking and tweaking and what not. It might help to have someone or a team of ppl who could also post to that site so that way they could take some of the load off you since everyone always asks you to do this or that, and you have to post it or cab it up while your cooking and what not. Just a thought, not trying to be intrusive or tell you how or what to do. =)

1. Why doesnt anyone else but me like that?
2. Try again and soft reboot. That has to shut off. Maybe reg didint stick. Shut off and soft boot.

I am hoping for EVERYTHING you just said... Right now its all beta to test reality if usefullness.... I have ALOT that I want to do. Just want to make sure people will use it before I spend alot of time making it pretty.

This will require mt o learn another web app because... Well.. Yahoo Site builder blows! Hrehehe

EDIT: I kinda want to do this too.... Start my own "group" like Cozboogie has seeings how I cant get into his ;c( I was thinkning something like "Club SSK" for thoise that may find this a cool idea.

Club members would get all new releases ahead of time plus any crazy beta's I put up. I already have a small beta team so they could be like the leuitenants and I woudl be the captain.... Everyone else woudl get ranks by helping people and receiving thanks ont he board. Yeah, silly bot not really! Just want to promote.... UNITY!

After playing with it awhile I have decided I like it better in the upper left corner. It seems to be easier to hit with my thumb during one handed operations! (No I wasn't driving!)

D/L the kitchen now...all ROM's tested, now time to make my own!

I'm not the one to set it all up, I'm sure most of you have more computer skillz than me. I will help at and do whatever I can though. Just let me know what you need, and I'll do everything in my power to make it happen.
