It should work fine with other carriers, it's just not tested on them, that's why he says it's for VZW only first. But furhter down he says it should not overwrite EPST settings or anything and should work with other carriers, but you'd want to have a backup just to be safe anyway.

Okay Scott....I'm on a XV6800, the RUU Utility says No Joy when I even attempt to install this ROM....I WANT IT!! LOL. Do you have a minor little tweak that get get me up and going so that we can see how fast I fry my XV6800.....again. I have 76 more on stand by, so let's play! (And did you know you can get 512 Mb of RAM on a 6800? The chip is not a fixed setting and is controled by software...don't know how to do it yet, but I have seen proof that it can be done).

Anyway, back to the point of my post. I would really like to run YOUR (with credit going to all those who helped out on it as well) ROM on my XV6800, but I am "unable to flash it on my device." I like what I have now, but I haven't flashed this week and I am having withdrawls. Any thoughts or comment???

Yep! PM me if you want to try a beta. I need people to test it first. Never messed with any other carrier excpet VZW. Not going to put out a ROM I cant test.....

If you are interested... PM me.... Its way off the scope right now but with sufficient encuragement from the other CDMA carrier users like yourself I might just make it happen sooner ;c)

You guys do a have alot to choose from already which is why I have been so hesitant. 6850 users do not have a real ROM to call there OWN, until I came along and started the VZN series. That was proof of concept for me. The entire time I was planning SSK 1 while putting out VZN3.

Like now, I am working on SSK2 and have been for a while aall while putting this out in the mean time ;c) Im a tricky ***** arent I?
