first thing I do after I put a rom on is turn off TF3d. I also turn off the dialer skin and use the default windows. I've tried that both ways.

I put 1.2 back on, turned off TF3D, applied the imbored GPS fix v2, soft reset, downloaded the latest quickGPS updates.

in GPSTools, I choose the 7500 chipset, open port, start test. locks to 8-10 sattelites in about 2 minutes. shut it off, open Google Maps or Live Search, enable GPS

couple minutes later I get an error that it could not lock on my position

:dunno:

Can you try to reapply the board GPS fix?

i have seen issues where people just need to reapply. SOmething goes bad along the way with flashing.

Dont waste your time doing anything else until yo reapply GPS fix.

BTW: Did you use clear storage at anyone point?

That would be my thought as well. If you are not seeing any sats then it sounds like you haven't unlocked your GPS.

You probably did this but... did you run ppst.exe right after you installed V2 and let the phone self reset?

Unless you run out of memory, this will be the fastest solution. I think you have the Sprint phone, so you get 64MB more memory than VZW (32K real, 32K less reserved for radio stack). I'd stick with zero until you run low on memory. Then try 32MB.

Yep, that was my plan.

I was just posting my observations after a couple of other people had posted stuff about having problems with it. I don't think they were using Sprint phones though...

Because your phone might not have enough memory and need to have the pagepool at a fixed size.

I'm back to using Skyfire for now until I can sort out this Opera thing. Any ideas?

Nate

Concurr, after installing opera from the shortcut in documents folder, when launched from TF3D it start to open and shows a quick "error" uppper left by start button and then goes right back to the TF3D browser tab.
