The UI is still old, blunt, and stylus friendly. It seems that Microsoft is saving a touch UI for his version of mobile device that's rumored to be in production.

the qvga isnt the problem.. the rom cant be dumped im told.

it would be possible to port if the rom wasn't locked down like Alcatraz

anyways... wrong section to post this in. its got nothing to do with the pro.

yep i got a copy, DFT does about 5 different things all in conjunction to make it an utter mess to dump to get a sys from

yeh so not worth it, its a yawner. USB mass storage? we got it. Finger scrolling in all programs? we got it. Only "new" thing is the sliding panels on the homescreen which you can download too (although its pricey right now fro the developer). I see nothing new except 6 on 6 browser which most of our custom ROMs already have.

If this is how WM is going to go this year im getting a Pre likely. Sick of spending hundreds of dollars many times a year for new (good) hardware and same old 2005 WM. WM is becoming the new Palm Garnet of today, the long in the tooth old dog.

nah i think its an official beta, just got to the Chinese qvga devices first.

i have a copy of it if i had a blueangel id flash haha
