Re: Leaked Sprint Diamond ROM 2.00 Ported for Touch Pro

Hello Dream,
I have been a user of ur ROMs for a nice long time now. I was excited when i heard u were developing this ROM.

But, Im gonna have to say i will wait to DL this rom until u develop it a little further. I appreciate u moving this over to us to use on our PROs, but i wait until u clear up the little bugs and give it the personal touch that makes me appreciate ur roms so much.

Ill be looking around here...

This was just a simple 1:1 port, so you flash happy people could try it out... I may wait for conflipper to get a hold of the tp test rom before I start breaking it down.

Re: Leaked Sprint Diamond ROM 2.00 Ported for Touch Pro

This new leaked ROM is blazing fast. However, there are a few problems that I'm encountered.

-The new S2A seems to have no ringing delay.

-TF3D is portrait only.
-The hardware keyboard T9 function does not work.
-GPS takes longer to lock

What program are you using that has a GPS Lag?? I am using TOMTOM with the AstroGPSLauncher, and I have no lag whatsoever. When I open TOMTOM, even on a cold boot it will take 5 seconds at the most to lock my position, most of the time by the time the program opens it has already locked 5+ sattelites.

I'm currently on Dream's 1.1 and the "lag" I expierence isn't in getting a lock, it's in any program that is using the GPS "live" (rather than to just pinpoint a current location). In Sprint Nav, iGo, and TOMTOM, my position always shows ~30-40 yards behind where I actually am. If I come to a stop at an intersection, it eventually catches up to the right position, but audible directions are always given late.

If there's a fix for this, I'd *love* to learn of it. This didn't happen to me on the stock sprint, and the only custom ROM's I've run have been from Dream; I can't confirm though whether this was happening on earlier Dream versions.

I have this issue too - using Juggalo's latest rom. Used to happen on Juicy roms as well - I can't recall if it happened with stock, because it's been so long since I've used stock. But I'd also love to know the fix for this.

GPS Lag guys? Any test?

No I am NOT talking about how long it gets a FIX, I am talking about the GPS report you are at the intersection where you just past a while (couple seconds) ago.

Sounds like a + to me.
I'm sure it's a bug bug I've been wondering if that could be done.
