Hmm...crap...I probably did something I shouldn't have...

Short version: No service and *22899 fails and *228 opt 1 fails.

I was flashing around with Scott's ROMs tonight and checking them out, I thought I would give yours a whirl. It worked great initially, I didnt need to activate it at all (same with Scott's) so I figured I would get yours 'workable' for tomorrow...reset it, install software, set up email, etc. I proceeded to hard reset it and, tried with the key combination but couldn't make it work, so I went into settings and used the Clear Memory option to hard reset it...I am thinking maybe that is where I screwed up? Anyway, after that, it refused to activate, so I tried flashing back to Scott's ROM and still no luck.

I need to hit the sack, but I was hoping you might have some ideas for me to try in the morning. I do have a Verizon Touch Pro on Verizon. Thanks a lot!

Try *22899 again this morning. Sometimes VZW does server maintenance on sunday nights. Odd thing is both mine and his ROM's don't do anything to the phone programming. You should be able to flash a 100 times and still not need to activate.

I did try again this morning for the heck of it and it activated just fine...that's when I vaguely remembered reading a post by someone explaining why they never flash on Sunday night....

It was strange because I did not need to reactivate it the initial flash, only after the hard reset. I verified it was working with a call beforehand.

I'm wanting to turn it into a cab install instead of having it cooked in. Should be soon, been alot going on with my family these last few days and really havent had any time to dedicate to R&D.

sorry this confuses me... if u flash a rom... the fix will be wiped out i beleive? is the fix incorperated into the rom? if not would u consider making it standard? thanks flashing now!

If you have already applied my GPS fix to your device then you wont have to do it again. When you flash a ROM everything ROM wise gets whipped but the "Fix" is a part of the radio programming values and flashing dont affect it unless you are flashing a OEM ROM that is set up to reprogram some of the radio functions. The ROM I have posted here does NOT do that so you will be fine if you already applied the fix.

Remember you need to unlock your device first before flashing a custom ROM such as this.

How do I get the launch browser button in tf3d to actually launch a browser? Atm is doesn't do anything.

lol sorry.... I was really hesitant of making a TF3D version but I was asked to but I didn't include all of the add-on's that go along with it.... personally I don't do TF3D because it causes my available ram to leak or something within TF3D does... I'm running my newest bare ROM and hold steady at 78mb free and then can gain 1mb more when I purge with quickmenu... I have actually got it above 80mb free with quickmenu disabled but I insist on using it.... alot of nice shortcuts within it that makes it was worth running...I hate having to navigate thru multiple windows to get to a file or program....the drop down menu style it uses definetly appeals to me ..... even if it happens to use 1mb of ram it's worth it

Hey Bored, Big time Lurker, first time poster here.

Is there any way to disable Quickmenu? ither than that im loving this ROM, nice job.

Also, since no one else has asked, is your wife ok? I saw you had to take her to the Hospital. I hope all is well.
