ROM Built around Stb shell Instead of Touchflo

To all interested,

After going through numorous ROMs (and by that i mean flashing once or twice a day for the last month) I've not found myself pleased with the performance of anything short of a super-clean performance based flash which isnt of much use to the average user. I've resorted to learning to cook my own ROMs and through this process I've created a ROM built around the Stb Shell. ive found this to be much more graphically pleasing and useful than touchflo and the boost in performance is terrific. I've decided that I'd like to share my ROM on this forum.

The ROM is still pretty unstable though and I'm still doing beta testing. I posted this hoping to gain some feedback and ideas from the community. Lemme know what you guys think of this idea and if you have any ideas on what i oughtta include.

Doesn't that require a serial?

Yes it requires a serial, but could you create a ROM with the software on the phone, but without a serial? That way I could use my valid serial after a hard reset or after I install the new ROM? Or is that not how it works?

Re: ROM Built around Stb shell Instead of Touchflo

Are you looking for this or building it? I have already built this for my own touchPro from Calkulins kitchen with some parts from other kitchens and no touchflo. It's centered around sprint, Resco explorer and SPB Shell. If you want I can post the RUU on my website for you to try, but you would need keys for SPB. It's UC ready. [I used UC to install the Resco stuff]

PM me if you want it.
