6 on 6- Any word? is it at all like desktop surfing?

i am wondering if there are reason to get ie 6 for the TP?
Ive had my issues with trying to update my stock ROM,
so I have been watching on the side lines.

All the chefs- Thanks for the ROMS and such! You guys
make having this phone worth it!

6 on 6 as you call it is simply IE6 on Winmo 6.1. The 1.4.X AKUs have it, and it is the first step towards Winmo 6.5

It is IE6... which is not that great a browser, the zoom is un-intuitive, the scroll bars look like Windows 3.1 and the test builds are kind of slow.

On the positive side, AJAX, Flash and 128bit encryption are all plusses. It's a step in the right direction, but hasn't replaced Opera Mobile for my daily use.

Thanks for the response! I expected IE6 to be clunky and slow, but work with most websites.
