All ROM problem

Has anyone noticed this problem on the custom roms / kitchens...?

After flashing, the communications screen works fine when I toggle OFF the data connection. After a while though... and it seems usually sometime after I run active sync, when I go to toggle off a data connection, it sends me to the settings screen where I can add new connections.

I am on sprint... so it is that flavor of manila. And now that I think about it, it must be something related to custom roms with sprint manila. Juicy's rom worked fine until I added the sprint manila cab. Any ideas?

Re: All ROM problem

im using ivans v1.2 and i dont have that problem? and i flashed juicys, and still never had the problem, you should try to start from the beginning and flash the stock rom then the juicy, if u have problems after that just hit juicy up for more info, you may be having an instillation error

Re: All ROM problem

its not just juicys rom. it happens with kitchens too. who is your carrier? i already had done stock roms then custom roms. it is a consistent problem across roms. did you do those things i mentioned in my original post? did you install sprint manila and run active sync against your email / etc? if not, then not having the problem isnt surprising. i am not guaranteeing that one of those things causes this to happen, it just seems that it happens sometime after i have done those things.

Re: All ROM problem

I understand that you have experienced this in multiple ROMs, but can you please provide some further details so others can look into recreating the problem. (i.e. specific ROM/Version, or Kitchen/Options selected).

Re: All ROM problem

It is recreated under the conditions I specified.

1. Sprint Carrier
2. SPRINT Manila
3. Run active sync
4. use your phone for a while (a few data connections for weather, etc)
5. Try to go to the settings / communications / turn off data connection.

Instead of disconnecting data, it takes you to the connections settings screen.
