[3-9-09] KK's Loaded ROM v1.8 Sprint and Others [OS 5.2.21015 Build 21015] [UC]

When, I was looking back through your ROM and noticed something. Juicy recommended the following change:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery]
"PollInterval"=dword:4E20

found in this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=39966

Note: "4E20" is the same thing as "20000" when in the decimal format (default). I noticed that yours was at 25000. I think that all this does is increase the time between the systems check of remaining battery life. So, I think having a higher number (like yours) would be better. I just didn't know if that "20000" was a magic number, or a minimum threshold.

Also, why not include Second Today as well? Hell you are the author of the post where I found out about it, but I'll link it anyways: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=37867

(Side Note: I asked a question at the end of the second today thread about the background image being tiled. Was wondering if you knew how to fix it?)

On the battery poll interval - 20000 is a suggested interval... 25000 is where I have always set it. Dunno why. In theory bigger is better.

I could include SecondToday. I already have an OEM for it. Do you think I should have it enabled or just available for use?

I have no idea on the tiled image. I will have to play with it.

My vote is to include it but not enable it. But it is not all about me, that is what I keep trying to tell myself....

Yeah I was thinking that was just a minimum. Does that number translate into seconds? Like every 25 seconds or something? Would going even bigger be even better?

I say enable it. Put it as the left soft key. I mean all you got there now is the "Phone" soft key, which is easily accessible by hitting the "Talk" key. Seems like a waste of valuable soft key if you ask me.

(Hell, you could even go ahead and put Weather Panel on the Second Today screen. Umm... specifically the PhatPhinger II theme, Phat+260.wpl layout, and a couple icon sets. I'm seriously just playin', but I really think you should go ahead and map the left soft key for second today; just makes sense.

I like the action screen mapped to the left soft key but I guess I could just remap the key if everyone feels the second today screen is more valuable.
