Am i the only non sprint carrier user that the phone goes into automatic handset activation? it tries to register with sprint before the tp3d loads. it caused my provisioning to go from verizon to sprint. it also changed all my msl, prl, a-key settings. it takes a lot to get the phone re provisioned. Please let me know what caused this. I ran all your roms w/out a problem till 1.2 thanks.

1.3 is up in the first post:
[+] Web Video Downloader
[+] Trapster Mobile 2 - Tracks speed cams and such.
[+] Corrected TF3D HD Font colors for some tabs.
[+] Working comm-manager tab doesn't disable the tab customization under TF3D settings.
[ ] Disabling direct push on the communications tab in TF works correctly.
[-] Removed TaskFacade (I believe this is the cause of the battery drain for some users)
[ ] Press and hold send button unassigned. Program it for whatever you want. (Used to be TaskFacade.

Unless this release has a lot of issues, the next release will focus on fixing the Opera scrolling and the notepad issues with the main storage.

Reset my ppc, ota download working fine now.......I am looking forward to this ROM.

BTW, you never answered my last inquiry regarding programs associated to icons.
I use thumbcal, so when I select my appointment icon from tf3d, I would like that to start. I also use icontact, instead of the stock contact app. Same issue.

How would I do that?

Any good alternative for TaskFacade, that program is pretty sweet... to bad it causes problems.

EDIT: Im going to test out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432213 for a good alternative to taskfacade.... anyone else used it?

Holy crap Kevan, you are a machine!!!! I will load up the new release and report back. By the way, here is an update on the battery status:

65% this morning after another 40 minutes of A2DP on the way in to work without charging over night. So I do not think there is a battery issue.

Im new to this, still learning from trial and error, but im good for the most part. Just need to get pass this one step and i can finish the rest. my mogul can't be recognize by my cpu anymore i got caught downloading the wrong spl file. of course i was stuck in the infamous red green white screen. downloaded the (dcd 3.) something and thats the only thing my mogul recognize since then. But its still saying no radio. I've back up my files before i did all of this any more suggestion

I liked it too but it appears the auto refresh it does to capture the window state is a battery drain.

There is no landscape support in TF3D HD. There is development work going on for something to offer a little support for landscape. The solution that is out there right now is in alpha and I don't like it yet.

The other app is kinda crappy... it doesnt seem to allow you to close apps from within it (like you could w/ taskf..).

I was really excited to see v1.3 especially after I took two or three days to flash v1.2. I

I was finally done with v1.2 this morning. Came to thread to find any updates and VOLA V1.3 !!!!

TP currently installing TCPMP_YouTube_Stroths_Tech1_....thatz all the screen displays....

Thought I'd post a battery update. Before I do, I just wanted to say I love this ROM and how it looks. I think it's really great.

with KK's Loaded Rom v1.3 and Telus Radio 1.04.05V
+ activesync and taskfacade running
light use (few short calls, few texts and emails)
After 5 hours of use, down to ~75%
--confirmed two days in a row


with Sprint Signed Rom 1.03.651.4 and Telus Radio 1.04.05V

So I don't think the battery life can be pinned on the taskfacade. But it's a significant drain. When I'm using KKs Rom it seems like every time I turn on the phone, the percentage is less than when I last looked. With the updated sprint rom, sometimes the percentage hasn't moved despite half an hour passing by.

I do think there is a significant difference, which is too bad because I love everything that KKs rom comes with.

Has anyone tried this 1.3 version? I did and it locked on the rainbow screen. And activesync popped up with the window like it was installing itself again, and would not see the phone. I thought I bricked but it came back after a power cycle. I'm going to wait to try it again.

UPDATE: I just flashed using bootloader with no issues. Not sure what happen with the activesync.

As I have said before I love this ROM. I am installing 1.3 right now. I personally am glad that TaskFacade is gone because I never used it. I use the voice command feature all the time and would just remap the talk key to voice command. I was wondering if you had any plans on adding any FB apps to your ROM. I found this a few days ago and am going to be testing it out. Any thoughts?

I am happy to add some Facebook apps to the ROM. I just need feedback on which work well and then try them out myself.

That is a battery meter. When your TP is fully charged, the line will go all they way across and be green on the right side.

Here is my take so far on battery life.

The other day, when I was still on 1.1, i had unplugged my phone from charger at 11am. Had about 30 minutes of talk time on it, 20-30 texts, and a whole bunch of "messing around" on the phone. Got sick that night and forgot to plug it in. At 10am when I finally was feeling better from crazy *** food poisoning. My charge was at 72%!!!!! I was like WTF?!?!?! I used my phone the rest of the day and I was down to 22% at the end of the night. That was with 1.1. Unbelievable battery life if you ask me.

I'm now using 1.3, and had 1.2 on there for a couple hours. So i'll report back later today on the battery performance.

Im not a big fan of the stopwatch program you have on there... it seems kinda crappy compared to:

Maybe check those out and see what you think.

Also, you should include the g-alarm and g-invaders (your notes say you have them but they arent on 1.3 after I just flashed). Keep them as cabs though so we can use apptoodate with them.

I have never included g-alarm in my rom. As for g-invaders it looks like an oversight when I did the last build. It will be there in the next release.

I will definatly look at the other stopwatches.

I believe that g-alarm has been known to cause some issues. I will take a look. If it appears safe I will add it to the list.

One question though, is there a way to change the dailer back to white? or possibly do a different shade of black? (maybe a little lighter in gray?)

I have not noticed any issues with the ROM!!! :)

I needed to let my battery charge after yesterday's testing. I loaded v1.3 and while it was charging I testing tethering - works like a charm.

Took the phone off the charger around noon and it is at 85% now (4 hours later) - that is with email push enabled and about 60 emails, 20 TMs and no calls.

I haven't had much time to do any other testing.

CONFIRMED: In Call Recording does work with this ROM v.13

1. install the .cab "ICR_51spsoft_com"
2. put "voAMRNBEnc.dll" into your "/windows" folder on your device
3. soft reset
Do not forget this step, because the call recording will show up in the menu of a call (right soft key), but it will not record. This will make you frustrated and spend hours diligently perusing every forum post out there until you finally give up. *Actual experience may vary.

Note: I also changed In Call Recording to save to the storage card and as wav files, which is done in the options of the actual program, which is found in your programs folder.
