Click on the top right corner (task manager) where you pull down all of the programs that are running and then click on the wrench (settings). it is under the buttons tab.

I'm a verizon user on a sprint tp. when i flashed from .9 to 1.2 it tries to auto actvate handset to sprint. it locked me out of ppst also. is their a way to flash a verizon serviced tp and keep the prl settings. Thanks

When I try and run PIM Restore i get to where I need to pick a folder that contains the back up and that it where it stop it wont let me pick the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One thing I noticed is that I was burning through my battery late this morning while using Sprint Nav (both usage and temp). Taskfade was disabled and I am running radio version 1.11.00F.

Over the past three hours I have went from ~91% to 71% - a few TMs and about 40 email, and out 15 minutes of talk time. Not too bad considering the phone just eats up the battery.

Over night I am dropping about 15% battery.

Gotta agree with the homoish. I live in San Francisco and wouldn't want to be caught dead with the vista batt gauge on my phone!

Yea I tried a hard reset, installed WVD and still get .net cf initialization error when I try to run WVD. Says I must install .n
et cf??

Upgrading your radio really has nothing to do with this ROM and there are many opinions about which one to use. Go here to read about it:

I think it is pretty good. But I will try to see what happens with Sprint Nav this afternoon.

I figured it out!!! I deleted the WVD folder in programs folder on the storage card, reinstalled it and now runs fine!!

still lovin this rom, but I have tried every d3d driver and fix I can think of and video streaming on orb or diamond tv is still horrible, yet it works for youtube and kinoma freeplay? I flashed a few other roms last night and everything streamed beautifully. Jugallos was the best for video streams... is there anything i could be missing here or is this just a problem that can't be fixxed? any help as always is greatly appreciated....

I'm not a fan of leaving the screen in portrait when you open the keyboard. I find the Action Screen is at least an acceptable solution. Is there a cab that puts it back in and opens it on keyboard open? I would also accept any other alternatives to the Action Screen, just as long as it doesn't leave TF3D in portrait mode.

Go to settings, Task Manager. Click the Button Tab. Then select "Click X to close program". It is currently set at "Click and Hold X to close program".

keavank, just wanted to let you know i was having problems with the latest, 1.2.. It is going through moments of slowdowns... like if 10 things are running in the background, but thats not the case, it is really slow in loading items from the program list, from the menu. after clicked, you can actually see the individual icons being drawn durring one of these slowdowns. also when you run application with a timer (pipes as an example) the timer freezes, then skips foward a few seconds. durring this freeze, you cannot do anything. not scroll, or even use the home key, untill the timer resumes. touchflo is fast, really fast, but my battery seemed to get sucked dry so fast, all talk time. If you need info, or whatever let me know, be glad to help ya out.

Ok so, I just got my TP two days ago and I love it....Im having a problem though, I flashed this ROM and everything works fine except when I open up my keyboard, the screen doesnt go into landscape mode... This only happens on the Today screen... Help Please..

hello all, I downloaded S2V 1.42 and now for some reason it automatically closes right after I open it. Do you have any ideas why? On your previous rom it worked with no problem, by the way good job, I love your roms.

I have a samsung BT and it has to be very close to the Touch Pro for it to work and the ppl on the other side barely can understand me... Any suggestions? I have tried the tweaks that come with the rom but it seems not to work

It basically shows you all your open programs in little windows, to remove it go to file explorer then my device then windows, then startup. You should then see all the programs that automatically start when you turn your phone on. just highlight it then hit menu then delete.

I am sorry your not a fan. I went with TF3D HD based on feedback in the thread.

You can try the very alpha version of an addon program that emulates a landscape mode for TF3DHD.

I am experiencing great battery life on my first KK ROM. I unplugged a fully charged phone at 11:15pm last night. Woke up at 8 am with 92% battery left. Made about 30 phone calls mostly 2-4 minutes and a couple 5-10 minutes. Sent and received about 200 texts and had email checked every 2 hours (and also downloaded 150 old emails in addition to about 5 new emails every 2 hours).

It's been 23 hours and I'm at 11% charge right now. Great work! Also FYI: I am on the Telus 1.04 radio.

KK, I have a sprint diamond will your rom adapt fine or has anyone had any issues and does your rom do anything to speed up the camera at all? Thanks

No real camera tweaks. My rom cannot be installed on a diamond. When I have worked out most of the TP bugs I will build a Diamond Rom.

I also had this problem today. I have not used my phone a lot. But I needed it and had to do a soft reset because it was taking too long to get back to normal. I did not have a problem with battery life. But that may be because I did a soft reset.

I didn't know what it was or what it did so when I saw the program running in the morning, I killed it. It never came up since.

Not a problem. I have removed TaskFacade from the next build. Looks like it was causing a number of issues. Battery life and slow downs.

Looks like this is a problem with the Long Press End Key application. People have reported this same issue with multiple roms and devices. It seems that if you lock with no password set, it works correctly. If you have a password/pin defined it doesn't work.

If someone finds a stable free app that will remap the button and work I will add it to the ROM. Any ideas?

Here is a battery update. Left work around 6PM and my battery was at 95%, A2DP music for the ride home (about 25 minutes) and a 5 minute phone call. Exchange push goes to every 2 hours after 6PM. No TM. Taskfade is off.

So now it is 11:48 and my battery is at 86%.

I know I said I would test Sprint Nav on the way home but I felt kind of silly having it tell me direction for a route I have been driving for years. :)

No issues with battery life here. I would say the best I have had so far. :thumbleft:
