Did you unlock you phone ROM?

Also, don't worry about putting this ROM on. I botched the PP hex edit.

Oh no I didn't! I thought since it was the Sprint ROM modified I didn't need it! Will another attempt be made to get the pagepool at 32mb? I tried doing so myself and I really didn't have much luck at it :(

I finally did it!! I took an official Sprint ROM, used a hex edit tool and gave it 32MB of pagepool! Took screenshots of the memory to show... it's pretty fast! If anyone wants it, tell me how to upload the file and I'll share! Now my TP is almost perfect... just waiting for the fix on the keyboard light to come out! :D

yay, we have a winner finally.

or you know you could patch the PP string in this rom and just pack it with the PP changer and every one can choose there own page pool. and ill let yah in on a secret. ive benched static and dynamic. there appears to be no difference in performance. just use static. there is speculation of dynamic not even being true dynamic anyhow.

How would I patch the PP string into the PP changer? I'd love to contribute - just need to know how first lol :)

what i would do is extract the xip from the rom, and then modify the string in the payload.

you can do it by hand or with ervis's latest xip tool.

then recompile into a flashable nbh and sit back and feel good that you helped out :)

SWEET!!! I just ordered my TP to replace my Mogul finally today now that they are back in stokc after recall!! This will be the FIRST ROM I install after unlocking!

I've searched through PPCGeeks and Google... cannot find evis's xip tool - can you point me to where it is?
