Its hard to brick this baby so dont stress! Trust me I tried my *** off to brick it! Yes I can do it but I dont think you will without trying as hard as I did. Your in bootloader and you are locked. Search for exit bootloader. Maybe even KILL this thread and move over to the bootloader thread. Last resort, Flash stock ROM again. The one percent thing can also be because of loose cabling. Happens to me everytime I touch my damn phone after trying to make my own "video out" cable. I hosed one of the pins and it got pushed in forcibly to the USB port on the phone. It still works but everytime I touch the phone while connected to USB it disconnected and reconnects. I have this one cable that is shorting out so it thinks it s a headset when I try to connect USB! Re: Cant flash any ROM to phone...
I bought the phone from verizon, brought it home & unlocked it. I then flashed scotts VZNAV 2.0 bored gps fix ROM. This rom had issues with You Tube and a few other programs, re-installing from a .cab wouldn't fix it so I decided to go back to stock. I read a few threads and 'thought' that you needed to re-lock the device once you flash back to the stock ROM. (I guess I was wrong...)
So, where I stand now is: Stock ROM when I enter bootloader mode I see: 35.0000 I would like to flash the VZNAV3 ROM from Scott, but cant get the phone to unlock. SD Card flashing doesnt work, nor does flashing from RUU. I can activesync things fine & I can transfer files through USB with no problem. Can't see why flashing doesn't work... * when I flash through RUU with phone in normal operational mode, I just get an error right away - the phone never goes into bootloader mode. * when I manually enter bootloader mode, the phone gets to 0% and stays there for a minute before erroring out. |
