Re: [ Jun 4 \ 21051 & 21728 v1.8 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs
Is it possible to have both the 6.5 and TouchFlo3 included in this rom?

If you read back a few posts you'll see thats one of the discussions going on right now. 6.5 has built in scroll called physics. So tech. touchflo is not needed to get scroll. The problem is that physics is not all encompassing and doesn't work for every app. For example if you open a word document you cannot touch and scroll. If you try all you will do is highlight text. If you include touchflo then it will work but with this build you will have other problems like not being able to select items just by tapping. If you use the previous I was able to use them both with now problems. I am also using a newer build of touchflo. Last edited by ptfdmedic; 06-05-2009 at 11:26 AM. |

something else, I've had a few sites crash on me with this Opera build...has anyone had the same issues...am planning on a complete re-d/l and rebuild...to see if that would fix these issues.

Anyone know of anyplace where I could get a cab to resize the Menu Enhancement? There is an oem included in db's kitchen but I was unable to get it working with this kitchen. I prefer the extra small Menu Enhancement.

Ok. Touchflo/6.5 update. I now have everything working. The only difference is now to native 6.5 items (ie. change themes, file explorer) you tap and release to select. I guess that must be the direction microsoft is moving in. If you think about it, it makes sense. It is harder to accidentally push a button.
Anyway. I used the 3.033 version of touchflo and I also added the OpenVG drivers. If anyone is intrested in the OpenVG drivers oem let me know. It improves graphics performance and is used with the d3d drivers.... |

I am using both. So I get EVERYTHING scrolling. 3rd party apps work like normal (ie Resco Explorer). I actually pulled file explorer out of the kitchen and cooked in the latest Resco Explorer because I don't like the way file explorer works in this build. With the OpenVG drivers you will get an error right off the bat (dupicate). "libgles_cm.dll" is already in the oem drivers folder. I pulled it out of the oem and overwrote the one in the oem drivers folder. That way there is no duplicate error. I haven't benchmarked it but is seems to make a difference. Let me know what you think. |

You need to delete the "fexplorer.exe" from the baseapps folder. Then delete the fexplorer.lnk from the shell folder. I also removed the default Picture and video app and windows task manager. That just cleaned it up nicely for me .... |
