Are you getting to buildOS through the kitchen or are you just double clicking on the buildOS.exe? If it is the latter of the two you need the double click on 'Calkulins HTC Kitchen.cmd'.

This means you have a bad oem file, or bad sys file, so any of the files you may have added to the kitchen are not properly built to be cooked, just cut out those files, and BuildOS should work.

I have not moved on yet from 1.4 beta mostly due to the problems i have been seeing here. I would like someone to mess around with the bluetooth on the 1.4 beta though. I am seeing odd behavior. Sometimes I am told there is no bluetooth device. Other times I have bluetooth on but after a soft reset, the bluetooth icon can't be seen unless I turn on a bluetooth device. It's odd.

As far as the bluetooth icon, I have not had that issue yet. However, for the first time, I had the phone not ringing issue. It happened today,and soft reset fixed it. Odd because it rang when my wife called and then about an hour later had 3 missed calls and tested with wife's phone and sure enough no ringing. Soft reset fixed it, for the time being anyway.

Well...at least now maybe we can finally start figuring this out. I had that happen twice now and not again since. I also have not been using my bluetooth...or at least I have not had to talk on it. I am wondering if that might be the issue. It's not changing the profile back once you actually use your bluetooth. Not only does the phone not ring, but the vibrate doesn't happen either. I think something is just preventing the phone from falling back to the profile for normal phone usage.

As to my little icon issue, I think it was a bad build. I made another build and flashed a little bit ago and I am not having the problem anymore.

I didnt get 1.4a last night so lets hope this fixes the keyboard I'm almost done with my rom just have to finish graphics. Does anyoen happen to know hot to cook a new toolbar in? Customn icons? I've tried installing as a cab but not all appear then I tried oem kitchen does not like that I tried replacing all the files I could find in os folder that helped a couple of icons but not all are listed?

I cooked in the sdkcerts which is required when you change your toolbar icons. For the icons themselves, I just use UC and install them last after everything else.

Here is the dilema now...I never connected to Bluetooth today. But, I have a thought. First I'm going to test it though before sticking my foot in my mouth. Also, I am finishing flashing with the 1.4 to see if I may have fixed the hard kb issue. Then I will test my theory on the Bluetooth.
