It's gotta be one of the cpr's because I use TF3D2.1 and I only see it in the startmenu (so I'm not going to reflash just for that). It's in front of the startmenu background but behind the icons... so maybe try replacing the "global" cpr's from one of Calk's older builds.

Can't remember who posted this over at XDA, but I keep this saved. If you've already flashed then just delete the reg entry. If you want to fix it for future flashes, edit the rgu in sys/28014/shared/common/shell folder:

Delete the following key in the registry if already flashed:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Device Beta]
"Today"="Beta"
"Expiry"="Expires: %02d/%02d/%04d"
"About"="- BETA"


Do this before cooking rom:

Remove entry from the file 1f1aca24-d942-464a-9281-10567741499c.rgu in the shell package.

Typically from incompatible Manila files. Probably a .cab or EXT you installed that overwrote the correct Manila file with something else.

heres a strange one that I have never seen.. I just cooked a new rom, same build i just added a couple apps, I run SASHIMI and carrier cab, and arcsoft then *228, everything is all good. but after *228 it soft resets and when it boots back up, It says I have no service, and I cant access dialer at all.

Normally the white box in the upper left corner is caused by an in-compatible background mod (BG4ALL or Pano) or an in-compatible clock....

I changed the background and all is good now... I solved the *228 prob. I tried for the first time to put carrier cab in to sashimi. so I tried taking it out and all is good now.. weird but it has top be the cause of that issue because its the only change I made

Can someone help me out please. When is it required to install a carrier cab I have always done it after every flash. Until now, I didn't install this time and all seems to be working..

I have never installed a carrier cab. On sprint though.

Not sure what it is exactly but 28011 and up works without setting up a carrier. I think its the FWUPDATE package but its the same on Raidzero's kitchen as well that's why build os crashes with verizon ext
