same here. I spent all day yesterday setting up my first try with a VK. wow was it worth it. he released a new kitchen today and it took me all of 10 mins to get it the way i had the other one yesterday. this is very cool. thanks calk

i just tried 4 time.... no locking. I opened messaging to the list of accounts, and clicked the x button. went right back to my home screen w/o locking

I was able to somewhat get around the txt issue. As long as I actually send a message and not just open messaging and try to close it without sending something it will work. As a previous poster said, removing showcase appears to work. So I would like to remove it but its cooked in the ROM.
There are a couple of other things I noticed. I had a nice acurate digital battery readout on the top until after installing (I think it happedned after this one) the Alltel DCD cab. Now it a battery outline with the lines in it and it stays at full even though battery is almost empty. SPB mobile shell reads correctly so I can live with that. Big issue with Mobile shell is that the start bar will not go away. It covers up the mobile shell launch bottuns. Can I make this drop out of the way?

What its doing for me is when I slide over to messaging then tap on the new message icon on the right. Nif I try and close that screen with out sending anything or typing at all, just hit OK to close it locks. If I send a message I can close. Issue now is trying to get that start bar to go away when Mobile Shell is on the screen.

How do you change the panaromic pictures to another panaromic pic? Also where can I find some more demo or really nice pictures? Thanks, for a nice Kitchen and very complete.

im using the messaging client in touch flo instead of the windows mobile client... i dont like it nearly as much but there is no freezing issues at the moment... hoping someone releases a Showcase removal cab so i can see if that works...

if you remove Showcase, make sure you have the manila position fix program if you're using wm6.5.1 since that is also integrated into Showcase.

to stop Showcase from autostarting on boot, goto \windows\startup\ and remove the shortcut there. soft reset, and it won't load anymore.

if i do ur trick to stop Showcase from autostarting, do i still need to do the manila position fix thing? i guess i will search for whatever program that is that your talking about... are we having the messaging lockup issues on on 053 and 414? i'm on 414 right now with the issue for sure
