Re: [ v3 9-10 ] [ 23047 \ 23409 \ 23017 \ 21054 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROM

Well ran the kitchen and everything ran fine and all that but, when I flasjed it to my device, it never made it past the boot screen. The red writing pops up and thats about all. It just stays on that screen. Any suggestions???

I'm looking over all my settings in my first ROM I cooked... And I know you were talking about the panoramic BG for TouchFLO, but I was thinking it might be a .tsk or taskbar thing. Which taskbar did you use? I left it with the default Tsowen that was set.

I'm certainly not an expert, but from what I've been reading, the taskbars for 6.5.1 are different than the ones for 6.5. I was just reading over at XDA's 6.5.1 thread, and the one here and seems like they changed the bottom buttons. So the themes for any previous builds won't work right. I'm going to DL JD's clean rom just to see how that one looks without any goodies.

Ok, just flashed JD's clean 43047. Now I see what MS is doing. LOL It looks pretty cool!

Calkulin, do you know if the button issue that some people are having is related to the theme? I tried the default blue them on yours and on Demolition's and neither one looked anything like the one in JD's.

Ah, and on an A.D.D. induced side note, is it just me, or is Manila becoming less and less friendly with each new build?

The .tsk theme files are varying widely between sys builds, so you can't just use one .tsk for any old sys and have it necessarily work right.

Re: [ v3 9-10 ] [ 23047 \ 23409 \ 23017 \ 21054 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROM

But the thing that gets me is, it seems like these themes are updated by MS and are part of the SYS folder. Well, except I'm not sure where default blue lives. But that's why I was asking about it. If the themes work in JD's clean ROM and all the new buttons in the bottom taskbar show up correctly then why don't they in this one and Demolition's? So what I'm getting at, is maybe it's something else? The theme's in Calk's 23047 SYS folder show a modified date of 9/9 so I figure they are updated to work with 23047.
