Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

I have d/l 3 times but I get CRC errors when I expand. (I tried rar & 7Zip) even 2 different browsers. Never had this trouble with any other Calk kitchens. Trouble is only with the 23009 Kitchen, the 21052 works fine. Any1 have a mirror for 23009 kitchen? I'm so bored at work without flashing my phone, well I guess I need to write some code

Does anyone know what file controls the signal bar icon. I want to change the signal bar icon only. Any ideas.

Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

Ok, I'm not sure if my problem pertains to this rom but here it is. I'm currently running this rom and I wanted to add some ringtones and alerts. I dropped some ringtones and alerts in my ringtones folder. When I go to settings and set a RINTONE, all of them are there. When I try to set a text message alert, none of the ones I put in the ringtone folder are there.

I tried to put them in my windows folder but apparently my windows folder on my device has disappeared too.

Other than that, everything seems to be fine. Any help?

I also found that a ringtone file, regardless of file type, has to be in the Windows folder in order for it to be used for Text. This may be related to the corruption in the original kitchen upload. I'm sure Calk will upload new kitchens when he has the time.

As far as accessing \Windows is concerned, what OS? In Windows 7 I've found that I have to go to Organize > Folder & Search Options > View > uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files.

Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

With both 20921 v2 7-21 and 23009 v2 7-21, the white HTC dialer (not Tachi) does not display pressed buttons correctly. The pressed image is to the right and slightly below where it should be. I compared the images from each kitchen version in PS, and they are identical.

It looks like the dlls are different between each version though. In 23004 they show up as folders, but are regular dlls in the latest version.

Perhaps this is fixed in 20921/23009 v2 7-22? Not sure though, because the current files on Mediafire are corrupt, and cannot be extracted.

Thoughts?

I replaced the 20921 White canvas OEM with the 23004 OEM, reflashed, and all is well. Looks like the rest of the regular HTC phone OEMs are borked too.
