with what uploaded file? Which post in that thread has the how-to? all i see is stuff related to the panorama background and the icons on the tabs themselves.

Just saw that these files are for the panoramic backgroup option in calks kitchen... i am not using that. The only tweak I use is the transparent top curtain.

Been using rhodium youtube with no problems at all, scrolling and playback are great.

Been running this rom for almost 3 days. Usually I run Pocketshield and phonex for the dialer and have pretty good results. Phonex's incall volume has been broken on all the many roms I have run, so this time I tried to stick with the tachi dilaer and use the winmo 6.5 lock with smartlock.

Everything worked great except I had several locked up calls on s2a with tachi and unreliable screen locking. Manila 2.1 was much better than all the other ROMS I have run. The music tab is almost instant where it is super sluggish on all the others and a lot of the background skins like contact cards and such were not active, where they are all great in this kitchen.

Having probs with tachi and 6.5 lock i went back to my old Pocketshield & Phonex combo and now all operations have been fast with not a problem. And all of a sudden incall volume for phonex works great, where it (V1.4.5) has never worked on any rom (all of the 21921 and 23xxx and 23017), so knock on wood, but this is most certainly the most reliable, responsive and sweetest config yet. Panoramic manila 2.1 is also awesome looking.

Re: [ Last kitchen is up ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

One thing I noticed...

In the morning I notice that Manila clock will be frozen but it doesnt affect my alrms or anything, my taskbar clock shows the right time. When I tap the screen the manila clock swithces to the right time. last 2 nights I think it was frozen at around 3AM or so. I also noticed that the manila clock is normally around 30 seconds faster than the system clock... Any ideas?

I am running sp2 on this computer and have not any problems with the usb connections on any of the last few kitchens...Not sure what the problem is but can verify that it does work with this kitchen also...Phil

Try flashing the stock rom before you flash this one. I always go back to stock before a new flash and it usually helps to avoid the little bugs and glitches.

I am sorry. I was multi-tasking at work and I misread your first post. I am sorry. I did make black wallpaper for all my screens . Good luck!

Re: [ Last kitchen is up ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

I'm running the latest 21054 *THANKS CALK FOR POSTING IT* and I've never had such a super slick and fast kitchen cooked rom. It's been pretty much flawless. Only 3 days into it though and I really like it. I just couldn't hang with flashing a 6.5 anymore after they'd blow up on me and stuff and phone calls mysteriously stopped working without a way to fix it.

I've attached a cab for the stock green icon bubble, as well as the manila file itself. You can use cfcgui to extract the .png from 36eabe92_manila and edit the color/shape to anything you want using photoshop or the like. Once you have it the color you want, cfcgui will import it and cfc compress it for you as well.

You can also probably use any of the ones from this thread. It looks like it is the same manila file used by tf3d and tf3d2.1.
Attached Files
File Type: cab Green Icon Bubble.cab (2.2 KB, 3 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip 36eabe92_manila.zip (847 Bytes, 2 views) Click for barcode!
