Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

Here's a new start icon I made for WM6.5 for use in Calk's kitchen. It looks nice with tsowens 3.1.x taskbars IMO. I tried making it into a folder that can go in the kitchen and be selected with buildOS, but I have not built a new rom just to test it...so it may or may not work right. If you just want the icon, just copy the shellres.192.dll.0409.mui file using TC or Resco Explorer to your /windows directory. Both the kitchen folder (goes in OEM directory) and file are in the .zip attached to this post. The icon came from a thread by m_carroll at XDA and he got it from a MS website .

edit-also, calkulin said that he's just been busy with work lately in the diamond thread. I don't think he's left, at least I hope not .

Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

quick question guys....I had a rom from the 23009 kitchen and its been one of the best Ive ever used. Almost no problems whatsoever. HOWEVER, just yesterday after a soft reset, my phone could not receive any kind of signal whatsoever and it would not completely load the today screen. It was basically stuck saying it could not find any active data sessions. I could not access any menus except the comm manager and that didnt help at all. i couldnt even hard reset. I had to manually put the phone into bootloader and flash another rom. That was my only option.

Has anyone else encountered something like this?

It's a mod put together by Eenie here at ppcgeeks. It's for TF3D, but it 'works' with tf3d2 that I am running. You lose world clock by pressing on the clock and the pressing the calendar space on the homescreen takes you to wm6.5 calendar, not tf3d2's. The call history and calendar are hidden when not showing any events. You also have to re-install the all tabs for rhodium if you use eenie's cab, as it contains the all tabs for tf3d (alternatively, you can just make an OEM out of the cab, remove 5c9aa261_manila, and copy the rest to your /windows directory).

Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

Ok soI downloaded Calkulin's Touch Pro 23009 Kitchen v2 7-22.7z about 11 times , 5 on xp 5 on win 7, once with jdownloader download manager. I've tried extracting with both winrar 3.80 and command line in dos and 7zip. I still get thousands of corrupt files. Now I'm not new to the world of archives. In fact I have to pack and unpack many archives a day and several gigs a week. If someone managed to download it could you kindly rar it and upload to anywhere besides rapidshare (unless you have a pay account) or mediafile

http://www.megaupload.com/
http://www.filedropper.com/

are just a few you can use. It's only 120 mb of your bandwidth I'm sure you can spare it for the community

I didn't have the exact same thing happen but I have had the last two roms go crazy on me after working so good. I use mine pretty heavy. I change the battery at least 3 times every day so I'm always rebooting if you will

I had my email accounts disappear after a soft reset a few times and when I would recreate them, they couldn't connect to the incoming mail server. Had to hard reset...

Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

One issue I have noticed is that when I try and make a call and I accidentally call someone and I press the hang up button quickly, I lose signal for a few seconds and then it tries to find it again. Any ideas? Loving the speed of this rom though, hands down best one out there for 6.1. I'm using 21052.
