I've rebooted and made sure that the temp folder in the kitchen is deleted, but I still can't build a rom with this latest kitchen.
Search for that file in the entire kitchen. You will find it somewhere besides NetCF_All if you are getting that message. Have you added anything to the kitchen??

I finally got it to work and am flashing a rom now. I deleted everything, downloaded and extracted again and it is working fine now. I must have done something wrong...

Thanks for the help!

Question Re: [ Jul 11 ] [ 23004 \ 21051 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

I've been flashing quite a few roms lately and have read that a hard reset after the initial rom setup is a good idea. My problem is that on my VZW Touch Pro, I cannot get any of the methods that I've read about to hard reset my phone. The combination of button holding and stylus reset doesn't seem to work at all. I have to use the clear storage option on the phone.

Could someone with a VZW Touch Pro please tell me how to hard reset this thing.

Thank you!

what about using the Clear Storage under Settings->System ( I always do this after flashing, seems to make a rom run better doing a hard reset after a flash)

You can also hold the center of the d-pad and push the soft reset hole, Keep holding the d-pat till the hard reset screen comes up. You may have to try it a few times to get it.

Yes, but I've had a few roms with graphical glitches where I couldn't see the menu and a few that wouldn't boot....clear storage doesn't help then.

LOL. That was one that I have tried a hundred times without success. Just tried it again and it worked on the first try. This time I was at the 6.5 today screen so I could notice that I wasn't pressing the dpad dead on - I was actually pushing slightly up so the screen was scrolling. I hit it dead center and it worked perfectly.

Thanks.

Yeah, I remember trying it a bunch before I got it to work as well. You have to be dead on. I am pretty sure the phone needs to be on, at least booting to do this. There is another way also(not clear storage) but I cant remember. This way it has to be off.

Touch pro hard reset is:

Finger in the center of the DPAD not touching the ring and hold then volume down and hold then power down and hold for about 5 seconds until you see the hard reset screen come up. No stylus wrangling required at all.

Re: [ Jul 11 ] [ 23004 \ 21051 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

I am having difficulty running the kitchen after adding OEMs to the OEM folder. If I remove the folders it works again.

1. I am using cab2oem in tools to turn my .cab's to OEMs
2. I am then coping those folders created by cab2oem to my /OEM folder in the kitchen directory.

Am I missing something?

edit, cancel that, I got it
