It addresses the memory usage of windows media player. If you ever used the player you will notice that over time the program will use way too much memory, (sometimes up to 80 mb as calk stated) when doing a simple thing such as playing mp3s. From what i know this has been common behavior in wm6, as far as i can remember from my experinces with windows media player. If this does work than that is great news. I would actually like to use windows media player, esp now since MS incorpated it some what into titanium , but this memory issue has kept me from doing so. 80mb is an insane amount of memory to be used by a media player on a mobile device. I dont know why microsoft hasn't addressed this themselves....unless this was how it was meant to work.

On another note, Thanks for your work calk, also using your 21812 sys. Works flawlessly. Your work is some of the best stuff around.

I do have an issue with the opera OEM, 16643 crashes when opening differen't sites. wmpoweruser.com for example causes it to crash everytime. Lastest version of opera i find stable is 16277. Also the sym key doesn't work with Savage's Ezinput 4.5, i know others have gotten the sym key to work with htc's new SIP, just something you might want to look into. Once again thank you for putting what is clearly hard work into a kitchen and sharing it with us and this community

Hey calk, I went searching through everything in the kitchen trying to find the manila files that control the people tab. I'm trying to revert back to just the large photo without the options below it for mobile/text/work options. I'm currently on your 21812 clean rom, is there anyway to change back to the old people tab?

Hey Calk, im trying to fix the Manila Program Tab when selecting the Rhodium engine for Tachi phone Canvas.

It has that slight glitch where, it wont go directly to Home, People, or Settings Tab without first going into 6.5 Start/programs, They redirected perfectly fine under 21232 1.7 Kitchen, any suggestions from anyone appreciated

I developed a work-around for this and the lame start menu by using file exp. as a Program menu interface, and now my gwes is well under control w/over 50 apps installed that would have crippled my TGimP otherwise. I wrote this up over at this thread:

Thanks for the info, But I had to switch back to 21502. gwes is only using 7 mb's now with all my normal apps installed. 21502 has its quarks but I'll take better memory consumption any day.

Is there a way to make the Titanium interface with the smaller bars? This interface has a larger than usual slider bar on the screen and it's a little harder to flip up and down? Thanks.

Yes. Don't cook in the WM7 Project.
