i used it, seems to work good but i still dont like the original alltel theme even though i know that can be changed. Opera with built in flash is very slow compared to the stock opera. TF3D runs very smooth, fast response when switching to landscape, overall i would say its good im gonna keep it.

Update on the SPB Backup bug: I disabled TF3d and restored from my backup archive, and it worked, didn't get the "no service" error or anything. Maybe it was hanging because of Touch Flo after the restore?

Ok...I knew I just had to ask you. Thanks. After many years of using windows mobile, I just really miss having the day of the week on the today screen. Oh well.

[Possible Bug]

At first it seemed like it was doing it every time I was on the phone, but now it just happened and i wasn't talking, but the wi-fi on this ROM just powers itself on whenever it feels like. I've cut it off probably 12-15 times this morning, but it keeps powering itself on.

I know Con is on vacation and we can discuss it later, but i wanted to document it while it was on my mind.

Haven't noticed that one yet, and I'm using the slightly revised update he just released with fixed opera & no java. I haven't enabled the wifi radio yet though either, I'll see if it happens when I do.

Ok...I've tested the 12/22/08 rom today and I don't have any memory leak at all with Opera. I've opened it and gone to several websites and closed it and still have the same amout of memory. I've tested it repeatedly and no leak. I tried out several other programs and same result. Then I tried youtube and watched a video and closed it and it went up 2 or 3%. I changed my pagepool to 32 so I don't know if that makes a difference. I'm not seeing any issue with wi-fi either.

You definitely have to disable touch flo when you update from an SPB Backup archive. I flashed my son's phone last night, and after I restored his contact from SPB Backup, his had the same "no signal" issue I had. Then I disabled tf3d and ran the back up again, and after reboot the signal issue went away.

Is there a reason why Wifi keeps turning itself on? It seems even if it doesn't reboot wifi turns itself on. Any way to undo this? Also is there a way to fix the screen timeout during a call so that you can access the keypad without turning it back on?

What programs have you installed or tweaks have you made? I am not experiencing the wifi issue.
