MS and HTC both employee people to read what is going on at these forum sites. It is a great way for them to get free testing done has well.
If they release something that has a few small bugs, but do not want to pay to have engineers find what is wrong, they will release it, knowing that it is bad, and then read these forums and wait for the end user to find the fix for them. they win out of the deal, sure some people might stay away from the HTC or MS for that, but every company does it, or would do it. They dont have to pay anyone to do it, and they can come on here, find the fix and apply it. The joys of being early adopters. Go ahead and still port it, it is still a solid system, but just use it for personal use. |
