still not a bad score! I used a PP of 12 dynamic (stock) though

Let me pull my card and run a benchmark without it.

Live search wants me to "upgrade" to .netcfv2.0?? And I'm also getting errors when trying to use SSMaPa (i only have version 0.2.2.0, not the newest 0.2.3.0) because I can't download it now because xda is still down, so if someone has it can they post it please?

How do I change the long send back to voice command? I read i could remap like this:

1. Create a shortcut of a program
2. Rename the shortcut to the shortcut name of a key you want to asign to (TaskManager.lnk to Long_Home.lnk for example)
3. Copy it to \Windows\ directory

Problem is i dont know how to make a shortcut of voice command app thing :(

***I figured it out :-)***

Re: [01/06/09] Juicy ROM 4.6 [SYS OS 5.2.21009 Build 21009.1.6.0]

Running this on a sprint touch pro and so far the only big I've found is that the clear storage doesnt work. For some reason when I plug my phone into my mac it doesn't ever see it, but with 4.5 i had the option to active sync, disk drive, or share internet connection. Now nothing happens. Other than that had to soft reset a few times right after the flash because the phone was lagging. The phone also is using much less memory. If I remember correctly stock the phone used about 36%, juicy 4.5 used 42%, and juicy 4.6 uses about 32%. I'll report back on battery life later.

Just put this to a 32 MB PP (was at 16 IIRC) and decided to stick with this one for a little. I usually use juggalo's but I found I didn't need alot of the programs he included, and this one has a little less keyboard lag which is really important for me.

Just wanna update to the new opera, I don't want the flash support but I like the new speed.

By the way, is flashlite 3.1 in here juicy? Only reason I ask is because I was gonna test what version of opera/flash this was and it idnt work on youtube so I assumed it wasn't.

I like the speed of the new opera too, but I really got used to the gsensor function which the new version doesn't support. I believe you would have to go ahead and install flash. havn't noticed into already preinstalled in this ROM.

Finished setting up my phone as I decided to flash to this ROM and give it a try. Tis thing runs fast as I set the pp to 24. One thing I notice that I have a problem with is when I go to sounds & notifications. I was looking to change the some of my sounds to the one I like and noticed there wasn't RSS hub in the drop box. I do see Phone: Emergency call alert which I haven't seen in any of the other ROMs I flashed. Is this supposed to be for RSS Hub? if so could you correct in your next release.

This is something Juicy hasn't fixed, but yes, you're right, Emergency call is really the sound and notification for the RSS Hub.

Normally I keep my opinions to myself....ok no I don't but I found this rather rude. It is or it isn't faster...I think it's rude to directly compare the way you did. Sure stating so and so has this or that isn't so bad but to directly state what you did is rude...maybe it's just me I don't know.

I took a video with a digital camera then upload it to the computer then uploaded to the Pro...

The video quality when playing it is so horrible. it sticks all the time, super laggy. Does this happen to anyone else? it plays fine on youtube... using the youtube app. when im watching the same video.

It's not just you.....
it is rude.
People like Juicy are literally spoon-feeding us huge advances in these roms that frankly Sprint etc. SHOULD be doing and they're doing it for free.
If you don't have something nice or constructive to say about any of these cook's roms then STFU.

I have been reading this thread for a while, but relax a little twe90kid has already apologize for what he said and that should be the end of it. Posted a little before what you wrote:

Lastly, constructive criticism is key as well as being specific in letting Juicy know what bugs are found and what you're having issue's with. We have to help him help us basically. That said, Clear storage doesn't work, and the RSS Hub notification needs to be renamed in Notifications and Sounds as it is listed under Emergency Call.

As far as the ROM goes for what "I" use my TP for it is running perfectly smooth! I can already see where the optimizations have been in caching. Big difference in using Resco Explorer because it now doesn't take forever re-scanning the windows folder to display it, it is already cached after opening it once, so the re-open doesn't have a penalty like the prior ROM's. Also, scrolling through programs is VERY, VERY much more responsive, no lag what so ever. I ran the benchmarking tool and got around a 2500, so the 2800+ or 2700+ I'm not seeing, but I could care less about a number. Physical performance I can see and feel is all I care for and this ROM is delivering that! Also Internet sharing worked 1st try, 100% I didn't have to do anything, so thank god for that! Lastly boot-up with the same APPS since Juicy TP Beta's and I have gained 5-10% more memory, so that's always a nice addition! Battery life is also seeming very promising, but I need more time with it, but it holds its own very nicely!

Do you use live search? Is yours working? Mine wants me to "upgrade" to .netcf 2.0, yet I'm pretty sure that this has 3.5.

I also get the following error with SSMaPa when trying to hit the init button - Error on normal init: unauthorizedaccessexception at system.IO._error.winioerror(int32 errorcode, string str) at system.io.file.enternalcopy(string sourcefilename, string destfilename, boolean overwrite) at ssmapa.manilapatch.init(boolean alternativeinit, boolean loadsettings) at .....

Any ideas?

Thanks in advanced. And I did hard reset after flashing and running customizations like suggested.

Can you tell me what you are benchmarking with? (I have SKtools and might try it but I'm not sure what benchmark tests you are doing or what you are using) Also, does anyone know the Sprint OEM numbers that should be seen?

_________________________

Juicy, very nicely done! You took the time to get us an upgrade just as stable but more action packed then the last. Question for you, do you plan on trying to put in the landscape TF3D in any future builds? I don't particularly like TF3D but I know a lot of people that do and the landscape version is, well, kinda hot ****. :-)

OH YEAH, this rom seems to REALLY MOVE even compared to 4.5!

Thanks again for the ROM and everything you put into this for all of us around here!
