changelog says flash 3.1 was added back in but it doesn't work for me in opera. When I go to youtube website it gives me the standard javascript/flash error.

Anyone able to get flash to work?

Ok, just how did you get Sprint Picture mail to work, and really fast???

It wasn't even included on the ROM

Did you have to do anything tricky/special when installing the Sprint Picture Mail cab? Or just go to the PowerDeck and you're good to go?

Just install the picture mail .cab from the sprint powerdeck site.

I just used a cab I had from before saved on my storage card... but that was from the PowerDeck website.

I finally got it to send a pic to my wife's phone, had to send it twice, but she got both instantly.

yeah, that's the .cab I was referring to. Sprint has been having issues with picturemail for a while now, just recently it has been working like it is supposed to, but I still prefer sMMS because it is a all around better picturemail mail app. and both my gf and I find it easier to send pictures to one another and we send multiple pictures at a time without a problem and at high resolution.

I installed it from a .cab from my storage card. I sent myself a picture. I set my phone down and then a message popped up saying I have picture mail. No more than 5 seconds. Maybe because data was already on and never shut off?

I'm glad he didn't include it because I use Dotfred. Other wise that would just stay in there doing nothing, but taking space. You can just download it and save it to the SD card for future flashes:

Fairly fast ROM (way better than stock) but nowhere near Juggalo's ROM speed yet. I'm sure we'll see improvements.

Juggalo's ROM is also good, but I kept getting 5-15 second freezes when exploring folders or opening apps... I had to let it go...

Change the PP. I have mine set at 22mb, yes I like to be different, and its pretty damn quick.

Yeah I was going to try that next and hope it gets faster. Either way, awesome rom.

Flash works for me in PIE6 but not opera. Anyone have flash working in opera on this rom?

Might be placebo... I remember someone at XDA ran a bunch of tests... everything is pretty much the same, but the sweet-spot is 12-16

LilRico,
Can you elaborate on the battery issue? How is it compared to Y4J 4.0? I tried every ROM here but nothing beats the battery life of that ROM.

The battery issue I was referring to was the phone not charging during data transmission. Y4J ROM has a very good battery life, I'm still testing this one out...

What does PP stand for? Page Pool? If so, how do I set and change the PP, with Advanced Config Tool? And if so, what version? I have found version 3.3.0.0, and from what I can tell, it does not have PP settings nor does it have the extra camera settings for things like Sports Speed shuttering...

Hey Juicy,
I got a question about 4.5 rom, did you incorporate the incoming call fix?
The fix that makes the phone ring when someone calls instead of three seconds later.

Also what edition of java is in this rom?

For future reference, please use the 'Search' button :). But, yes PP stands for pagepool, and no Advance Config nor any other program on your phone will let you change you. You must use the PagePool Changer developed by XDA forum members. Search around and I know you can find it... You have to change the PP to the .NBH image before flashing however, which means you will need to reflash your phone.

^
See i was nice and helped him learn about 'Search'... :headbang: Good things people, good things.

@Juicy... Exquisite ROM

Use a program called Diamond Tweak, and search for the Call Delay feautre or something like that. Change to '(advised)' setting.

FYI For anyone looking to add sprint picture mail- if you go to the powerdeck site it doesnt recognize your phone.. just google sprint powerdeck picturemail.cab and click on the 5th link (the first one actually from sprint) and it brings up the page you need with the .cab. d/l it to your phone and install it, and you're good to go!

Re: [12/27/08] Juicy ROM 4.5 [SYS OS 5.2.20954 Build 20954.1.5.0]

@ Juicy,

So far I have not found anything seriously wrong or bad with the rom. I am still getting some odd corruption in Total Commander around the file/show but it's still very usable.

I miss having the wall paper on all tabs but it's no biggie and not something I can't fix myself.

Speed over all is ok, not any faster then some of the other ones I have used though. There seems to be some stutter though in the Launch Programs that I have not gotten with any other roms.

Please help Juggalo fix his Youtube. You seem to have it running smooth and he's been struggling for awhile with it lol. Although, the audio and video don't seem to be insync...that MIGHT have something to do with some plugins I just isntalled so I will reflash in a bit (testing UC out) and try Youtube again without the extra plugins.

Hello! Thanks of course Juicy, excellent rom.

So my issue is that i cannot receive MMS after updating to 4.5. I got a Sprint TP on VZW network, clean install of VZW rom - mms working. Upgrade to 4.5 - no mms. Several softs and a hard completed. Data is on and working. Any suggestions/settings i should change? Thanks =)
