ok let first address some things that are goin on here - it is not wktask that is causing the phone app popup issue it is the base of the ROM . So I have spent all day weighing out what to do about it , and I have read some of your post about adding IE6 and some of the other plus factors that come in the new builds I have used 20931 but abandoned that build for one nagging issue . What I am going to do is see if I can find a better build of it or move on to a different build I will miss having a fully functional msvc but this opera vs the build issue is getting on my nerves

JD - still wondering about Worldcard Mobile... Is this a program that will not work with the older build you speak of using? Or is it something you left out because you do not use it?

If it will work on this ROM, but since you don't use it, you removed it... could you please post a cab? I really like the ROM, but I need that program for work.

so your saying that disabling wktask wont fix the problem of the dialer coming up when opening the phone to input text? will we have to wait for a new rom or a patch?

Take a look at LilRico's post (#204).

D/L the DLL, copy it to your TP and then use Total Commander to copy it from the directory you copied it into from your PC into your Windows directory and then soft reset.

That resolved my issue.

JD, One thing I noticed is you went back to the original calendar. Not sure if your aware but that calendar doesnt work in landscape (month view)where the thumbcal calendar does.

What is MSVC and what is the benefits on having it.... My suggestion since wktask and quickmenu is very easy to install why don't you just cab it. There a screen right before the install to ask if you want to install those program...

For example cab1 2 and 3... check on 1 and 3 and skip two... just a suggestion...

Thanks but I know what TierAutoInstall does....I have numerous cabs for MSVC.....it is Microsoft Voice Command...it is already addded to the stock TP and JD has it built into this rom.....it will announce your text messages, e-mails and incoming calls via BT or the handset...plus you can initiate calls via BT or the handset...the problem on the TP is that it does not announce the incoming calls....this is the first rom that had it working thanks to JD....
