Is there any screen diagnostics they can do to check on trble... like ##xxxx# ... then see hardware trble there or somthing ... trying to get as much info as possible.. because when i go in there if i cant get it to duplicate ... they will be like ... no trouble found

So, yesterday morning (3/9/09), my phone decided to die. Being in the IT field, I've become pretty good at trouble-shooting, and narrowed this down to the graphics processor/chip. My phone stopped going into Landscape mode, and the splash screens would be in 3 different places upon restarting. Text messages started turning into "snow" (you know, that scrambled TV channel thing

). Eventually, nothing would appear on the screen after soft resets. I took this in to the Sprint repair store, and was given a brand new one right out of the box. Best part of all, my cost was $0. I would suggest anyone having these issues to take your phone in (Might want to put back on stock ROM if you can still see the screen.) The person I spoke with said that they had seen this issue before, but it wasn't very common. Could possibly be some faulty soldering on the board, and the chip came loose or something.

yes same issue... i took to sprint store and they gave me a brand new one... they had no refurb units... NICE... and since i had insurance on the phone it cost $0

I'm in need of some serious help here...I have not made any changes to the ROM in months - it has been stable and no issues...but now all of a sudden I am having two problems.

1 - ActiveSync is broke. I cannot get my phone to detect on my computer or connect with ActiveSync.

2 - Internet Sharing is also broke. It goes like it's trying to connect - but nothing.

I plug in my phone to my computer and it will charge, so I know there's a connection. Right when it's connected I'm asked if I want to "ActiveSync, Disk Drive, or Internet Sharing" - no matter which one I select I get nothing, and Internet Sharing automatically loads on my phone...and tries to connect to the internet, but fails.

How would I fix this? Or is this a problem with my computer?

HALP!

Unfortunately I have to find a new rom to flash this one is really starting to act buggy I wonder what the reason is I have nothing extra installed

I just started using this ROM as the old Dream .5 (I know) started getting sketchy. This has been so quick, and I think the ATI driver is installed because DIVX plays perfectly now in the latest core player. All the other menus are much more responsive than I've seen with Sprint Stock or others. Thank you so much!
PS - Thank you for providing a way to disable that god awful at9MyWord everyone seems to be including lately.

After using this ROM for a all night last night and all day today I gotta say this is one of my favorites! Thanks!

EDIT: Anything you guys want me to do to "verify" this works on the Verizon Touch Pro?

I know juggalo is waiting for 6.5, but is he even around? Some small updates would be nice.. like HD people tab.
