[01-16-09] Juggalo TP ROM v0.08B Telus & Sprint [OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972] [UC]

This is my first rom and it is great. There are two things I have noticed, like above when I talk on the phone the screen goes blank how do I just keep it dimmed? Another thing I found interesting is when my phone screen is blank and I receive a call I do not get caller id. I'm not sure this is a rom or user thing.

I too would like to know how to change this. There are times that I make a call and need to punch buttons for automated menus like at sprint or other call centers. I end up having to slide open the keyboard and closing it, then I have to wait for it to go back into vertical mode and then have the ability to push phone buttons. Many times this takes to long and the other end hangs up or I press a button frantically and end up hitting the end call button by mistake. Please help!

You can just press power button instead of sliding.

That works great for now. I wonder is there is a way to make the phone just dim during calls though so that the functionality of the keypad phone is not interrupted at all during calls.

Here is another thing that I am seeing a problem with. When I start typing a name, while in contacts list with the slide out keyboard, I do not see any text being typed. I do see it once I slide the keyboard closed in the same text box though.

I have a 1/2 sign showing now that covers the battery gauge. I believe it is for storage used. I really want to turn this off and don't have a clue how it got on there in the first place.

Here is one last question for this post: Is there a way to set contacts to be in first name first order? I know this is not a ROM specific problem (since it was like this stock). But, I figured where better to ask...right?
