pimbackup is goofing up my threaded SMS.
when i do a restore, it seems to mess up the order. All my sent messages are grouped to the newest and the recieved messages are grouped behind it.

do not use the sms restore function it does not work correctly with WM 6.1 and causes sms Spamming and glitches.

what other free progs can i use to backup the text messages?

SPB backup - first 5 backups a free with trial.

There are tons of developments still going on in terms of new software/tweaks/etc, so why make anything final?

I'd personally love to see the 'drag and drop' feature for tf3d along with adding/removing your own tabs.

theres always small tweaks the end user can do themselves but there is very little streaming out in terms of new stuff. MS has essentially become stagnant as of lately. all were getting it slightly different builds of 6.1 but nothing worth working with anymore or a lot better than what we have.

I think a lot of cooks are waiting for 6.5 (if its not a disappointment upgrade as 6.1 was with little new). You wont see very much new other than maybe slightly newer versions of apps and tweaks for likely most of this year.

You can try to change from threaded mode to regular mode before you back up your messages with pimbackup.
When its in a regular mode back up your messages .
Then in new phone or another rom change from deafult threaded mode to regular mode and do restore with pimbackup.
After that change back to threaded mode.

It may actually work!
