Another limitation is that flash memory has a finite number of erase-write cycles. Most commercially available flash products are guaranteed to withstand around 100,000 write-erase-cycles, before the wear begins to deteriorate the integrity of the storage.[citation needed] The guaranteed cycle count may apply only to block zero (as is the case with TSOP NAND parts), or to all blocks (as in NOR). Imagine my surprise when I attempted to tether in .4 and got the Sprint 97 username and password blahblah error! I had to go in and delete the following registry keys

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings
"ForceCellConnection"="Phone as Modem"

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\
"Extension" = "isext.dll"

For good measure I also set the Multi-NAI to 0 (Though some say this does nothing)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\WModem
"Multi-NAI"=dword:00000000

Tethering now works as advertised

I tried to install OZ messenger since it has been stripped from the rom. I get 2 errors.

1) When I try to install it says that it has to uninstall the old version and then fails. You ahve the option to continue and install anyways and it looks like it installs.

2) When you click on the icon I get an error stating it can't connect to http://sprint.com/dimond

Any ideas on what I need to remove to get the install to work correctly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would hold off on this until after you try .5 I have reaaranged all the menus, into folders and rearranged the start menu also.

It may not be the most logical, but I hope everyone can give some feedback on how to make the arrangement a little better.
