The only problem I have with this ROM is that with pocket IE, the buttons scroll the window as opposed to scrolling through the links. In my opinion, it kinda makes it useless. Anyone know of a registry edit to change that?

Anyone else seeing sounds and notifications for events and reminders turned off? Maybe it's just my UC config, but that's been working all along until 0.9+.

So far great except for 1 thing. I use the QWERTY (onscreen) keyboard . I have turned off al spell correction etc, but it still suggest words for me when typing. I used to open the physical keyboard and hit FN-SPACE to bring up menu and the tap T9, but that doesn't work anymore. I had it suggesting words for me and also taking up real estate when I type.

You could make a .cab with fixes in it. It makes it far easier for the end user to install. If you don't have a way to make a .cab, shoot me the fixes and I can cab it up for you. This also spreads your updates out some so you are not releasing new versions daily :)

Excellent rom Dream!! One thing that I noticed thats a little aggravating but its really no big deal, is the on screen keyboard defaults to that very small keyboard and not the Full Qwerty.

the bluetooth icon doesn't show up correctly. I had to install the tsowentaskbar cab again to get it to work properly. also the finger flick for volume control isn't working properly unless u you the volume up and down keys

I was trying some different things last night and I may have added the wrong .png file for that icon. My "finger flick" for the volume is working so Im not sure why yours is not.

For yours just turn of T9 completely.

EDIT: You can to it "per basis" by just clicking the ABC/T9 on the keyboard or you can turn it off all the time by having the keyboard open, click the little up arrow, select "Touch Input Settings" and unchecking everything. That SHOULD work...

The finger up and down for volume works for me. However I'm noticing something quite different. I flashed this ROM early this morning and with very sparse usage, I'm already down to 79%. I saw much better battery performance on .5 and .8 than this. I'm going to fully charge it again and track it better but it seems as if my battery is draining at a far faster pace than it did yesterday when I ran .8 then .9. Anyone else seeing this or is this a reverse placebo affect?

The finger flick isn't working for me. Every time I touch the screen it goes back to the home screen. I just finished flashing AND did a hard reset.

I can't comment on the battery life as I literally only had it flashed overnight. But it seemed like it also got a lot warmer during use than I recall which would probably fit in with heavier battery use.

Do you every use the sprint music store??? My reason for asking is Juggalo has in included in his sprint version of his rom. I'm not asking for you to include it necessarily but if you could figure out how he got it to work. In the past there were some files in the windows directory that i could just copy and paste into the cooked rom. But with these newer builds that doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance

my volume is working fine, you just have to make sure you hit the part of the screen that has the gauge on it, otherwise it does go back to last screen

The problem here is that no one is keeping a build/rom long enough to actually see what usage is. On top of this, I can say with almost 100% certainty that if you took 10 people with identical phones, roms and settings. Then had them all do identical things with thier phones at the same time, I am willing to bet you will get very different results the first day. Then do the exact same thing the next day and i am willing to bet you will not have any consistancy.

It might just all be in my head, but I've heard people say, and I believe it to, but after you flash a rom and go through the settings and everything that you should let it fully discharge at least once and then recharge before you comment on the battery life...idk, but to me the battery usually sucks after flashing, I think it takes a lot out of it...so I would charge it and then see what happens

I would tend to agree Acer..however I know how I use MY phone and what the battery has been with other revs of this same ROM. I'm going to run this ROM no matter what until at least Monday to see how it goes. I like this ROM and it is quick. The battery drainage has been noticeable to me though. Thanks for the feedback.

there is...
for Other roms, i've been able to flick anywere on the screen from bottom to up to increase volume. and vice versa. For this rom, i have to press on the guage specifically at the location of where i want the volume to be at.

not the same


also i found that the java app that was included can't install my opera mini .jad file. weird!

I hear ya, but I have noticed that it can change from one day to the next without any difference in usage what so ever. That said, I think Dream messed some with the cache and I am prety sure that can/will effect memory. That said, Calcu relies heavily on cache in his roms and kitchen and I get decent battery life using his kitchen but as I said, it still varies from day to day with about the same usage.

I was running .9, but was having some issues with Opera that degraded the experience. I'm glad to see this favors a more stable tweaked version.

A strange issue though. Your keyboard tweaks, what are those? It seems I can't get to the T9 My Words options like I once could by pressing function-space. I need to get in there now and then to delete all the "My Words" that it insists on populating, despite the fact that I neither want T9 (it just slows the thing down, it's awful, and, c'mon, I have a keyboard for crying out loud) or its my-words functionality.

It'd be really great if someone eventually made a ROM without that annoying thing, since even with all the keyboard latency removing registry tweaks in the world, the thing lags when I compose even the simplest SMS. It frustrates me to no end.

d-pad wheel scrolling support (for 30 programs)

Also every time i hit the "." on the slide out keyboard i now the a word suggest box?
can I stop that?

having trouble receiving MMS messages, it tells me that I need to click on Download, but when I do, it just received another message with the same info. weird I'm on sprint trying to receive a pic mail from verizon
