All 3 work without issue. You just dont get the Bell software with them, which you can get in cab form. PointUI from bell sucks anyways, and so does the crap software they include. |

First you have to unlock it. Follow the instructions below: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 Then, pick one of the roms available. There are instructions on how to install the rom on your phone in that post above. Generally, the roms are in the form of a RUU_signed.nbh file. You then just download the RUU (Rom Update Utility) put the file in the same directory as the RUU executable, plug in your phone, and update it. Its really simple. The hard part is installing all your programs again (and the addiction that comes with updating your rom weekly, since these things get updated fast). Go by the features available in the rom. If its your first time, i would just stick to one of the custom roms available before you go into cooking your own rom. |

well, installation of programs isn't a big issue/problem for me. as i kinda get the ideal set of apps that i need in cabs that w/ UC scripts (i was using X51v for years and do flash my ROM for quite some times, it's just phone PPC ROm flashing is the first time for me) i'll probably see which ROM is the cleanest (have the least amount of program), and try to build my own ideal system that way. |

Re: Bell Mobility Custom ROM
also, if i use the RUU to unlock the phone for custom ROM, after flashing the ROM, do i have to do anything to be connected to Bell Mobility Network? or it should be able to recall all the network settings?
