wat roms are you guys using for sprint...............? just a lil curious .............

mine... lol... seriously there are tons of threads like this and they all end the same way.... it is personal preference.

i no hibby i been honestly building my own roms out of the herman kitch in build os but i will like them for a day or even a week till i come on ppcgeeks and see how other got there phone so fly...... like the icons u helped me with the other day i couldnt get them to work i had to download a rom with it already built in ........ i abeen readin 100 plus post about customizations and such just cant get it ..... right now looking into changing the sys fonts on the phone and color ......... read a few on how to do but cant been fing up my phone and doing hard resets all day ..........

For me, the easiest way to change the system font is to pick the font you want and rename it to tahoma.ttf and tahomabd.ttf and then use resco file explorer or total commander to overwrite those two files located in the \Windows\ folder. Then soft reset, works like a charm for me. If you are on stock, sometimes it doesn't work right, so you have to rename the old one, then copy the new one and the soft reset (i think). But with custom roms it has always worked for me. Currently I'm using helvetica and it looks nice.

sticking with stock as of now there are no roms that really intrest me.. when i had the diamond the only rom i used was juicys' rom cus it only had stock applications in there no third party stuff. i wanna install my own apps. no disrepesct to the rom makers.

Stock Sprint ROM... Thinking of building my own personal ROM... Anybody have a good link for advice on how to do it? I am thinking an in-depth, Hibby-like ROM...
