I wouldn't know about that, I've never used VZ nav & I have no intention of ever using it. I do know the GPS was spot on in my Titan's & it's not in the TP for some reason..........

yeah, i dint blame u one bit not wanting to use VZ nav....Im not sure why its not spot on...I think there was some talk about the gps software itself reading the map files from the sd card, was causing some problems...could be wrong tho...

Thanks for testing Kyle. I guess I'll leave my Verizoned Sprint Pro alone, since the GPS works already (not sure why?), but I was hoping the lag had been fixed in this version.

BTW: The latest Verizon GPS fix discussion is now here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=49933.

I vote that we leave this thread for General GPS Discussion and the other for installation and unlocking related issues.

QGPS Update.

Ok, I didn't use the GPS at all for a day and a half. This morning, I went outside, turned on Garmin and had a lock in under 10 seconds.

So, bascially, before QGPS - 2+ minutes to lock, after QGPS - less than 10 seconds for a lock.

This definitely should be part of the official GPS "hack" process.

Anyone who isn't using QGPS is really missing out.

Lex, you're 100% on bro! QGPS is awesome and locks within seconds!
