Coulda asked :p

I've been trying to find a shipped rom for the omnia....some people asked if i would look into it for them....if it supports the same radio functions and programming language I should be able to crack it.

Phase II works great with sprint based ROM's except for ones cooked in ppckitchen for some reason. I'm sure when they support vzw then there wont be an issue anymore. I initially installed this on Juggalo's ROM then moved to yours. Had to make a minor regedit but no biggy. Then have since then worked with scott to integrate it and have also tested on calkulins. I tested P2 alot more than P1 just to help make it as seemless as I could.

One thing I've noticed ALOT. People forget to turn their location on. Hell I do it alot since I flash so damn much. Just overlook it and then I do the "Homer" doooohhhhh

I wonder what the users who had problems are doing when cooking their rom then. Now are you saying my fix works or you Sprint TP GPS works?

I said from the beginning your fix works great. I am using VzW TP with telus radio now ppckitchen built ROM as its the only kitchen I will use. Gps is great working without a hitch 15 second locks at worst. I even built in the kitchen with the OEMDrivers I dumped from leaked before, and had GPS working with VZNAV on VZW device and SPCS device. SPCS gps worked from the get VZW not till your patch on gmaps and Garmin.

Flashed leaked radio/rom combo let customizations run applied fix and bam GPS working again. Flashed custom and GPS reflashed scrosslers and bam GPS gone I repeteaded this cycle a couple times to verify even redownloaded his rom 2 or 3 times to ensure I had a complete download.

I really had no intention of being a a** to you bored and to anyone was just posting my observations, and what I have been helping people fix in the chat room all week. Maybe I have the 2 devices produced by HTC for Verizon that dont like his ROM well that aint it since I had to fix another 4-5 this weekend. Who knows maybe the FIX cant be in place and then run on a ROM who knows. I havent looked into it yet since I had to make a ROM for a couple people in the chat whos phones where broke I figured I would test it out and see.

Both of you have said your piece so u can now move on.

I posted this info in my post in hopes it does not screw up anyones Verizoned TP. I simply don't have one to work with. I am stuck with two 6850's.

Thanks!

Yes I updated the Ver 3 to include the newer fix. I have not heard of your experiences being replicated but dont doubt you.

EDIT: I also think yahoo, my webserver, sometimes sends bad bits over copper. I want to move but there price is too good.

Update on bored v2 fix with latest Nex ROM: works great!!!

thanks again!

anyway, i'll keep my ear to the ground on both items below, the FM radio and the memory. I'm truly puzzled where all that extra memory is being consumed.

you guys rock! :headbang:

#1 still working on Lenny was actually the one making progress on it and then he fell ill so it got put on hold since my OMNIA had FM radio I didn't look at it.

#2 I have looked at this in full full detail it just ain't there open up. In theory based on the chips it shouldn't need it based on the processor dedicated RAM however I agree it would be nice to have since I am back on this thing.
