How do we not let the customizations run?
The typical soft reset just before customizations doesn't work as it did with the TITAN. The device resets and AGAIN does customizations.

I think I read somewhere that on the Sprint Touch Pro, you have to soft reset four times, right before customizations and on the fourth time, it doesn't hard reset.

I know this sounds crazy and time consuming. I also don't know if it would work on the Verizon Touch Pro or not. I can't seem to remember where I read this, but if you search around here on the forums, I'm sure you'll find more info about it. Hmm...

Yeah I've gotten customizations to not urn on my VZW TP multiple times now. All i've done is soft reset it 2 or 3 times right before it starts and it finally doesnt start anymore

coming over from the "titan" forum at xda-developers. My touch pro just came in today so i'm playing catch up.

this seems like my kind of ROM. just wondered if any Alltel users have ran this ROM since the unlocker is available.

Flashed and custom rom is on! It doesn't seem to be running any faster though at all... VZW here. I dislike the font as well.

Thanks for the custom rom though!

try your luck flashing back to pre-release vzw.... I'm not sure if that ROM is different thant he one that came on the phone but it is fast as all hell and 50mb free on boot with tf3d enabled... I don't understand it but I'm very happy with stock right now other than no gps...

oh and I let customizations run too... everything works great? i dont get it...

Just flashed and played around for a minute, seems to be running flawlessly at the moment. Question though...customizations did not run. Should I be concerned?

OK ROM unlocked, Build OS installed. ROM on Touch Pro's SD card. Now what? Sorry, the tutorials are not helping. Please advise.

Copied from the sticky on the CDMA main upgrades page... I always had the best luck flashing from my PC rather than my storage card.

How to Flash Via PC: (Copied from above link)

1.download the ruu.zip attachment
2.unzip to your desktop
3.then in the newly created RUU directory add the rom of your choice - (copy the RUU_Signed.nbh to desktop\RUU)
4.Place phone in bootloader mode (power button while holding volume down button)
5.open the ROMUpdateUtility.exe
6.follow the RUU on screen instructions from there

*****In step 3, place nexvision's ROM in the folder you just unzipped...

Flash from microSD Card (Thanks to MadlyAlive):

1. Make sure you backup anything that is necessary to your day to day operations! At a minimum, please perform an ActiveSync to Outlook or your Exchange server prior to flashing!
2. Rename the custom ROM NBH file from RUU_Signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh
3. Copy RAPHIMG.nbh to the root of your microSD Card.
4. Hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously. While you're still holding those 2 buttons, press the reset button with your stylus.
5. When your Touch Pro tells you to do so, press the power button to begin the flash process. If you do not get the message to press the power button to flash, there is a mistake in the name of the NBH file or you do not have the file at the root of your microSD card.
6. When flashing is complete, perform a soft reset.

Re: NexVision's VzW TP ROM

Rom installed.... seems to run much faster. Or at least more consistently.

Now for the GPS. Googlemaps connects, but can't locate sats. Oh well.

NexVision, thanks for the excellent rom.
