Quick question regarding the roms that are out...

I'm running an older version of JD's ROM. Mostly because it's been very stable and I like the original GSM Manilla.

I'm noticing some newer versions of windows coming out and some new video drivers. My question is..am I missing out on any performance increases by sticking with an older ROM? Or...are the increases so small, I wouldn't really notice?

Thanks in advance guys!

That really depends on you. Newer drivers and newer applications can increase speed and performance but usually at a price and thats if there is even much of a performance. JD makes some nice roms so even if you stick with an older one, you are already getting a benefit. Newer roms might speed things up but only you can really decide that. You will get a number of different perceptions. I suggest you try them out for yourself and judge for your self. no one knows you better then you.

this is tru i have heard only good things about juggs roms...but i can only speak from experience...and i am 100% thrilled with my 4.2 Mighty Rom...and he has upgraded since then but i like the way things are running...as it seems you are with your rom so think do you wanna possibly sacrifice a loss of smthng for a bit more speed or are you satisfied?? Good luck either way!!
