after i flashed a rom i can access my sd card.

I have flashed a few roms since then and i and i still cant access my sd the only thing i did not do is flash back to the original sprint rom........ is there anything i can do b4 i have to flashed back to my sprint rom.

Pull your SD card out and re insert it to make sure it's in correctly. Can you access teh SD card from within windows?

i am using a rom that i but of the herman build os ... i did take the sd out a few times i manage to flash with the sd but some how cant access through the windows

I had a similar issue with mine. 8gb HC wouldn't read after flashing (I left it in the phone when I flashed, I think this is why it stopped reading).

Hard reset fixed it though.

Power the phone off completely.

Press down the center button on the D-pad (the "enter" button) and hold the Volume Down hardkey on the side of the phone, press the power button and release the power button while still holding the "Enter" and Volume Down button. You should see a white screen that will prompt you through the rest.

I'm sure you know, but it is worth restating, it will wipe the handset. If that doesn't work, make sure to try a second card and make sure it isn't just a trashed SDcard.

same thing happened to me last night, it fried my card and i had to go get a new one from best buy (16gb)

what would make and sd card go bad ... and can it be fixed /........ cause i think my 4 gig is bad thats was the problem ... but i got everything on that card any way to recover

SDcards don't have an unlimited lifetime, I see them come in fairly often, and the larger ones are dying off more regularly than say the 256 or 128s. It's odd.
