Re: Need HTC_cm_guardian.exe removed
No its a sprint phone but I need it flashed to cricket. I have everything working but this htc_cm_guardian just keeps changing my wap settings back so I can't get internet.
The file itself is in /windows/ Your stock phone should have it. I have tried using dotfreds task manager to kill it and delete it but it won't let me do it. On my Diamond I installed the Juicy rom and it was not there and I have it up and running on cricket fine. I am guessing this has to be removed to make it carrier generic. Any ROM out that is basically generic? |

No ones rom should have that. No kitchen either. It's one of the first things everyone ditches.

(plus, it's just a really annoying thing for a carrier to do)

Yeah, I got rid of it by flashing a rom. I just wasn't ready to put a new rom on it as I had all my stuff setup real nice. But oh well, I am trucking along on cricket now.

Re: Need HTC_cm_guardian.exe removed
I thought cricket went out of buisness.... *shrugs*
yea, i noticed that on my mogul. Never flashed a rom on there yet. No idea what to use for a rom. PM suggestions if you want to give me some. Battery life is improved with newer flashes, and a lot of basic settings I use everyone else uses as well, so it makes my setup take about 10 minutes total instead of 30 like it always took on my mogul. |
