Hey gguruusa,

I know there was a kitchen update on 02/08/09 effecting various OEM and Phone libraries. Is there a change log anywhere to get a more specific idea of what's changed?

I had thought I could run WinMerge on the contents of each RAR to work things out myself, but then realized I no longer had a backup copy of the former RARs. Not sure if anyone can provide me un-updated copies.

Here is a cursory list based on OEM\file dates. I'm likely missing updates via this method though, and still don't know what specific changes occurred.

Does any body know a good free registry key editor?

HELP!! PPCKitchen / flashing issue
 

I tried creating my own ROM through the PPCKitchen; which I failed miserably on... so I flashed back to the ROM I was using before... Now when my phone starts up I get the PPCKitchen logo showing "PPCGeeks and PPCKitchen.org present" instead of the stock black screen that says Touch Pro. How can I get it back to the original Touch Pro screen? Please help! :disgust:

Edit: Ahhh. figured it out! Went into the kitchen again and noticed drop down boxes to select what you want - missed that the first time!

I use PHM Registry Editor, works pretty good for me.

ok ive had this issue before update and after update.everything goes fine. but for some reason i slect the mailla with the extra tabs....then the calander tab under call history doesnt work on the today...anyone kno a fix or why....my only issue...

Can you be more specific in what you mean by doesn't work?

The calendar tab doesn't really do much of anything besides show a calendar page, outside of the Manila recently seen on the Touch Pro 2. So you aren't missing out on too much in any case.

i am getting the same error and i am not using the voip program. doesnt matter what i pick i still get this error. I had one successful flash and after that i kept getting this error

ok so no answer to that.

when is the new kitchen coming out? i really feel handicapped that i cant build my own roms

File create errors come from OEM conflicts. Uncheck stuff to figure out what is conflicting.

A major kitchen update hasn't happened since November 08 so you might be better off looking at a custom ROM if you don't want to venture into cooking.
