Re: 20757, ynot 20924
i have no idea where it came from, but in my experiences and a few others it was unstable. at least on the diamond. 20757 actually has been a solid sys and xip for myself. been playing with it for a few days now.

Re: 20757, ynot 20924
If you open up the xip and dissassemble it you can see what value the actual version function returns. If it's different than what the rom shows in windows (booted) then it's been patched elsewhere and is a "fake" release... There is a LOT of this crap floating around.

Re: 20757, ynot 20924
No. All sources were of questionable quality, hence the reservations that it is "real". It runs better than prior builds and fixes a few issues, so we went ahead with it. Definitely an exercise in kitchen making.

Re: 20757, ynot 20924
So if I understand the techno jargon correctly, there is a 20924 and it is better than 20757?

Re: 20757, ynot 20924
FWIW i still hold 90210 in high esteem... makes no difference to me as long as we all keep pushing the envelope on the current tech. we're all on the same side in that regard...
