a quick and easy way is after running buildOS, copy the updated files to the dump folder, overwriting the originals.

Re: ROM Cooks, Any of you plan on incorporating custom windows taskbar icons??

I've turned a couple into OEMs:
OEM_tsowens_taskbar_VGA_icons............................................... tsowen's Taskbar Icons VGA (OEM Notes w/screenshot)
OEM_tsowentaskbar3_v1.3.................................................. ...... tsowen's Taskbar Icons VGA v3.1.3

Here's my approach, As long as the file is not in use it will copy and replace the original fine. The second one does most of them, but I haven't tested fully...This way you don't have to delete original files or do too much work, just drop in the OEM...
Quote:
OEM Notes:
- This OEM is designed to be "portable" from rom to rom.
-- No need to worry about duplicate files.
-- The OEM automatically overwrites the system files with the new ones on post-flash setup. (Causes gguruusa to have a heart mur-murrrr. )
-- For those worried about "space", rename the files inside the OEM and remove the "002-" from the 9 filenames.
- Works with *ANY* kitchen.

- This one OEM has all the components needed.
- Works with Diamond and Touch Pro
That's the first OEM, the second OEM set... .

Re: ROM Cooks, Any of you plan on incorporating custom windows taskbar icons??

here are oems for tsowen's stuff, his all blue set, and 5v1.6 these oems will only work with ppckitchen, because only it has the ability to use a patch function, but it replaces the origional files at build time, not during first boot customizations. using this method, the files remain as modules.
Attached Files
File Type: rar taskbar oem's.rar (1.52 MB, 4 views) Click for barcode!

You guys are the best. I appreciate this help so so much. I would really love to have the FIRST pictures taskbar rather than the second and I hope Im not sounding un grateful asking for this the reason being is that Juggalo uses that bar in his builds I dont want to copy his great work. lol

Is there a secret to making them into OEM? I tried with the apps from here and XDA and I only get a couple of icons to work?

Include the provxml file from my oem, (installs sdkserts) and use either my renaming/copy method or OMJ's method, depending on whose kitchen you use this could be difficult with the automated ones....
