Even with an unlimited data plan it would still be nice to have the radio feature.

Just like someone else mentioned earlier... my local gym also has all their TVs set to FM stations throughout the building.

In that case, streaming radio doesn't help

Yeah... If the FM radio is there, and the only thing holding it back is a software issue, then it will be enabled.. Between XDA and PPC Geeks, the combined brain power could create a custom phone... Hardware and software...

If you don't want to go through the hassle of trying to and a ROM to get the fm radio feature, you can stream any radio station in the country from www.thestreamcenter.com. You just put in your location and it has a list of all the radio stations in your area. Its nothing fancy, but i find it extremly reliable and it hardly ever buffers.

yea the only thing that doesn't have is REALLY local stations, or the gym issue people talk about, but if you really want to watch that tv station then orb it from home. and you get the sound that way.
