PP is pagepool. It is a pre-allocated amount of RAM the OS uses for applications. Increased PP's generally increase the speed of the ROM, but a value too high can be a waste of RAM. Some users claim higher PP values decrease battery life, but YMMV.

idk whats up with your phone and i do not know a lot

all i know is i always change roms like underwear and many of them seem frozen at boot.
just place it on the table walk out for a minute and come back and see what happens.... just looking at the screen will seem like ages went by and u will end up rebooting or something. 9 of 10 it will boot but sometimes the first boot takes longer.
