Yea, figured out the picmail is a server issue on sprints end possibly. I just kept hitting ok when it gave the G66 error and after 7-8 tries it finally configured and is working great. And I have seen no adverse effect from changing the pagepool so you have done a pretty dern good job. Flashing to final now, thanks!

Re: JD's ROM

How's the latest version of JD's rom compared to stock? Is it any faster? I'm a fan of JD's roms on my old mogul but I find the stock sprint rom on my pro very functional. Any bonuses to flashing besides just tinkering for fun?

Hell yeah it's faster and you have more memory avaiable with his rom. not that it matters becuase these things have so much memory as is. I just hate that he takes all the sprint stuff out so i have to load it all back up. But his rom's are great.

The updated build of WM might be worth the flash. I know you can install the added apps seperatly if you wish, but the newer build of opera is great as are some of the apps he has added.

Re: JD's ROM

just flashed most recent (5FINAL). Looks good. My first flash on this phone!

One issue I"m seeing is that my Exchange "first sync" is taking FOREVER -- contacts are syncing one-at-a-time... anybody else seeing this?

Usually it is downloading several per second.

ANyhow, I have over a thousand contacts, and I'm currently on 168 after about 10 minutes of syncing.

One other piece of info: I plugged my phone into the ol' laptop to try and get it to sync via usb->Exchange instead of OTA. It got a sync error on my vista WMDC... Could that have messed up the sync process?

Re: JD's ROM

Does WMWifiRouter work with this ROM? Or, do we have to apply the registry edits?
