[11/23] JD's ROM

Well after holding back for as long as I can I just unlocked and flashed the 7.1 rom. I still need to set my device all up, but my first impression is 'wow is this thing faster with a customer rom'...lol I did most of the regi tweaks with the stock rom and I was pretty happy with it but this rom just has a much snappier feel.

I guess its going to be a late night of playing..

Just one small question... When looking at a sms text in manila, if I tap the 'Menu' softkey, nothing happens. I'm trying to delete the message while still in manila... Is this intentional?

I am not having this issue with 7.1. I can hit menu and delete while in manilla. Try soft reset.

Any one else has had their device heat up more frequently with this rom. could just be me but ever since i've installed this rom it would randomly heat up with regular internet usage, as if it was charging, but its not pluged in.

On another note, thanks for all your Hard Work JD, been using your rom on the Titan and now on my touch pro. great work man !

question, i downloaded version 7.1 and a few programs wouldnt work that require .net. fired up .netconfig and it says no versions of .net are installed. tried to install 3.5 but get this error everytime, "installation error. stop all applications and processes, maximize available storage space, and run installation again, support info: 2." im gonna try and reflash then i report back.

k reflashed and restored with sprite and shows 3.5 now. must have been corrupted during install or something i did to cause it

One thing I like about this ROM is how when you plug in the USB cable, it gives you all three options as to how you want to use the phone; activesync, disk storage, or internet connection. Is there any way to do that to the stock phone? Thanks.

Also, you will most likley want to install this cab, which forces internet sharing to use the Sprint data connection, rather than Phone as modem. This allows you to tether without being detected and charged by Sprint: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...64&postcount=1

Note that you will most likley only need to do this on a stock ROM, or a custom ROM built with a kitchen. Most pre-made custom Roms out there (Hibbys, Juggs, JD's, NueRom, Juggalo's) already has this cooked in.

Hey JD! just want to say thanks for sweet fn ROM. This thing is great. I just have 1 problem though, for some reason the manilla shows I have 1 email on my home screen, but when I go to check it nothing is there. How do I get rid of this?
