Old school word correction:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409]
"Ime File"="\windows\compime.dll"
"Layout Text"="COMP IME"
use this and then go into settin input and enable auto correction!

Make sure you do a soft reset before settings take effect....

Will this disable it? Confused because you said enable auto correction.

It will use the old school correct like the Mogul used to use and DOES NOT lagg the phone at all like the stock T9 version does. If you don't like it, then keep the reg. settings and then just got into input and take off auto correction.

Changing it subsequently allowed me to disable it altogether.
